Configuring Advanced Monitoring Options
This topic provides an overview on how to configure the advance monitoring options for an organization.

Before you begin this task:

  • Process Platform BAM MDM Model package must be deployed.
  • Ensure that you create and start the BAM service container in the organization.
  • You must have an Administrator role to view the BAM Administration ( ) task on CUSP.

While deploying Process Platform Business Activity Monitoring package during installation, BAM service container must be created in the system organization. On starting the service container, the advanced monitoring options are enabled by default for the system organization.

To configure the advanced monitoring options in non-system organization, BAM service container must be created and started in the organization. On starting the service container for the first time, both the advanced monitoring options will be enabled.

To change the advanced monitoring options, do the following:

  1. Select or unselect the check box for Process Monitoring Objects to enable or disable the recording of the monitoring data.
  2. Select or unselect the check box for Business Events Response to enable or disable the evaluation of conditions to trigger the configuration activities.
  3. Click .
    The advanced monitoring configuration is saved for the organization.
